Fine Arts

At August London High School, we recognize the vital role of Fine Arts in providing a comprehensive and well-rounded education. Our Fine Arts program is designed to enhance students' appreciation and understanding of various art forms across different cultural traditions. We offer a diverse range of classes and performance opportunities in both visual arts and music.

Our music program provides a variety of instrumental and vocal lessons, catering to students' individual interests and skill levels. We offer instruction in various instruments including piano, guitar, voice, and a selection of band and orchestra instruments. For students interested in the theoretical aspects of music, we provide a Music Theory course that delves into the fundamentals of musical composition and analysis.

In the visual arts, we offer courses that explore both two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms. Our Art Explorations classes cater to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced students. We also offer a Graphic Design course, allowing students to explore digital art and media.

Performance opportunities are a key component of our Fine Arts program. Students can participate in our school choir, band, or join smaller ensemble groups. These groups not only provide valuable performance experience but also foster teamwork and musical collaboration.
